Our story starts with the recognition of the massive and growing demand for organizational transformation and learning in the business world. On the other hand, there is the often limited success of capability building initiatives in terms of lasting impact (or “real learning” as we like to call it) of traditional training methods or common consulting approaches. So BPI was born out of the idea to offer simple and concrete ways to support business leaders in their transformation challenges: in 2009 Uwe founded BPI under the original name of Business Performance Institute. Early on Marc and Paolo joined the team to develop a learning consulting venture with the purpose to create an innovative professional service for business leaders. Like many other colleagues, all three have a professional profile that blends direct managerial and consulting experience with a strong people expertise either in terms of coaching, teaching, learning design or other people capabilities. What clearly unites us is the strong believe in people and a professional ethic to get things done. The BPI family has grown over time to add professionals with the same profile but also adding particular expertise as Visualizers and Artists, Moderators and Coaches, Learning technology platforms and other important capabilities. All of us guided by the idea to help people to discover that learning can be a positive force in their professional and business life.
